Need to include search result pages in the is_blog function
Refactored on another project, could probably look similar to this:
function is_blog () {

$posttype = get_post_type($post);
return ( ((is_archive()) || (is_author()) || (is_category()) || (is_home()) || (is_single()) || (is_search()) || (is_tag())) && ( $posttype == 'post' || $posttype == 'news' || $posttype == 'press' ) || (is_search() && !have_posts()) ) ? true : false ;
}
ensure_is_array( $data ) does not always walk object
This needs to be rewritten. Currently it looks like the structure object->array->object stops walking down after it hits the array.
