As is if the client tries to print an array with too many items the message '... to many items x' appears instead of the items themselves this is a build in limitation of the console functions in node. Furthermore, the output of the kolibri-cli cannot be feed directly to a JSON parsing function because it is prettified by the console functions. There should be an environment variable master switch which controls if the console functions should be used to show the output, or the raw JSON will be show.

The kolibri protocol and the kolibri-js-client supports setting options on the login RPC. The kolibri-cli login command does not support them.
