Add license

There doesn't seem to be a license which is a bit of in the way for packaging :/

Change readme usage from `-N` to `-n`

Readme usage section is currently slightly wrong.

Enhancement: Provide binaries

I'm struggling to build this, the README doesn't have any instructions on how to build it.

On macOS build I tried:

./configure
make

but I get the following error:
