We discussed a kludge to generate such maps. But this is no longer necessary thanks to a great map library that @amaurea wrote (and which I use a lot).

Flat sky

You can use enlib.enmap's rand_map

with scalar=True and a cov containing all the power spectra to generate correlated maps in flat sky.

Curved sky

with spin=0 will do the job.

However, getting this code set up is a little difficult, so @humnaawan and I should probably try to do that while we're in the same place!
