ios-betabuilder's Issues

beta builder with iOS 5.1.1

Hi,

all my test users with iOS 5.1.1 are not able to install the ad hoc builds anymore. Test users with 5.1 and earlier don't have any problem.

Does anybody else experience this issue?

The operation couldn’t be completed. No such file or directory

Hi! I installed the version from the Mac App Store into my Mac book pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and everytime I try to generate the file after I select the destination folder, the IPA disappears and I get a error pop up with that message:
"The operation couldn’t be completed. No such file or directory"

I you like I can send you a IPA to try, maybe there is something wrong with it.

BetaBuilder doesn't compile out-of-the-box

Hello,

I'm not an expert in Obj-C, but I had to make some little changes to have BetaBuilder (version 1.6.3 (6)) compile:

  • removed the file 'BetaBuilder.icns' from the 'Resources' group in Xcode;
  • had to add the following declaration before "@interface BuilderController : NSObject {" in the file 'BuilderController.h':

@protocol NSFileManagerDelegate
@EnD

Maybe it's just a silly remark, but maybe it could help someone else...
Best regards,
Y

Can't connect to URL after app installation starts

Hi,

As the title suggests, I get a 'cannot connect to sitexxx' alert after the installation of my app commences. The mobileprovisioning profile, plist and .IPA files are all in the Deployment Path as specified on the BetaBuilder App. I downloaded the betaBuilder app from hanchorllc website.

Using an iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.0.1

Questions:

  1. is iOS 5 actually supported
  2. Does BetaBuilder access a different port in addition to the regular web server port# ?? It has obviously connected to the deployment server because I can see the app with the correct name.

Thanks for any pointers

Steve
