This will be useful in search. We only show the matched message with the search query. This sometimes may not contain the context. So a user can ask for previous or next messages to get the context of the message.

We can use Slash commands to provide a search interface for the archived messages, but that needs a web server and web api to be setup which is more complex than just starting this on any machine.

So this is what I am thinking.

A user can enter @archivebot /search hey hello to search for hey hello. These messages can be processed using Slack RTM only.

The search can be done using Postgresql full text search.
