Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to 'albums'
2. Don't pull down
3. At the very top there's a thin white/colored line as a leftover of the pull down player view at the top, see screenshot

Expected behavior
The line shouldn't be visible

When open album instead of all songs appears only one track

It would be good if your app support monet color theming because i am on android 12 and it looks very good

I record various audio on my smartphone and everything shows up in howl, not just music.

Make it possible to exclude folders or the reverse, just include specific folders.

Improv: Ditch Media2 Apis to depend on Media3 only.

I know it is in early stage.
You just available it on Fdroid and then fixed bugs or stabilize it.

Actually other platforms are not as safe as Fdroid.

So if possible then add it on Fdroid as soon as possible.

I have lots of songs that i sort by folder and when i import them i cant bulk add them to a playlist. there needs to be some type of feature to either make playlists based off of folder structure or have a view where i can select a folder and recusrively add all the songs inside to a playlist

For now the app sorts all the items in an album in alphabetical order (A-Z), and there is no way to change that sorting.
I would like for the app to have different sorting options, mostly I want to see disc and track number sorting, as that is, I think, 99.9% of how people listen to music.

As for how to implement it, I think there are 2 ways. Making another Floating Action Button that opens an individual settings page or have a tiny button in the album view, where you can change the default sorting options for all albums.
I am more in favour of the second option as it allows to keep the very minimalistic look of app and make minimal changes.

Don't fixed album tab it can be changeable with (folder/artist/album) in setting option.
select anything at this tab.

Just a note: The APK attached to release v0.2.8 identifies as

package: name='com.looker.howlmusic' versionCode='10' versionName='0.2.7' compileSdkVersion='33' compileSdkVersionCodename='13'

Shouldn't that read '0.2.8' resp. '11'? Could it be the wrong APK got attached there?

add support for .aiff files
