Hey! Awesome tutorial and loving this.
Just a question and probably a suggestion.
graphql-playlist/server/models/author.js
Lines 4 to 7 in 7a11b2b
For clarity purpose, any reason books
is not part of Author
model? Since, books
can be part of the graphql query.
e.g.
const authorSchema = new Schema({
name: String,
age: Number,
books: Array
});
GQL query
{
author(id: "cdf0506f8f561f87c1d8d140") {
name
books {
name
}
}
}
First of all,Thank you for this repos. and then how to define Array type?
const BookType = new GraphQLObjectType({
name: 'Book',
fields: ( ) => ({
id: { type: GraphQLID },
name: { type: GraphQLString },
genre: { type: GraphQLString },
author: {
type: AuthorType,
resolve(parent, args){
return Author.findById(parent.authorId);
}
}
})
});
if the author type is
author: [
{ name: "name1", age: 22},
{ name: "name2"},
{ name: "name3", age: 44}
]
and then how to do that?
is there another method to achieve the same thing perhaps just running react on the same express server
After react apollo update to 3.0 this function was removed. Need to use lodash's flowRight function instead.

Here is my mutation defination code:
const addBookMutation = gql` mutation($name: String!, $genre: String!, $authorId: ID!){ addBook(name: $name, genre: $genre, authorId: $authorId){ name id } }
But I met a problem, it reports that

Hi this course awesome. Please provide the steps for how to use the pagination, sort and limit features of the graphql application. Thank you.
