This is the directory containing images, workflows, code, and documentation, relating to the digitalisation and publishing of Brenand Mulvany's photo archive.

The photo arcive spans pictures taken in Ireland from 1959 to about 1986 across about 7000 different events.

Directory structure

/code

Contains code, workflow descriptions, and the metadata store for the proejct.

/images

Contains the scanned, processed, and processed images.

/notes

Contains documentation, and notes for the proejct.

Working on the code

Code is written in pythin and the environment is managed through conda. Use

$ conda activate bm_archive

To bring up the dev environment.
