What is this?

This repository contains a set of rankings:

One of them is generated for every Spanish province.
With all the rankings of a region ( autonomous community or the complete country), the ranking of this region is generated.

What kind of rankings?: It sorts GitHub users by the number of public contributions and groups them by the location in their profile.

Requirements to appear in the ranking

At least 1 public repository
At least 1 follower

How is this dataset generated?

This repository contains the results of GitHubSpanishRankingGenerator.

To generate the rankings, it is necessary to use GitHubCity, which is also available at Pypi.

For the previous project, I had this logo:

But I think it is not a good idea to use the Octocat.

Hi, I just realized that the rankings have not been generated since November 2018. Do you plan to launch them again or is this project not maintained anymore?

Algunos usuarios se añaden a la provincia incorrecta

Es mejor explicarlo con un ejemplo:

En los datos de gipuzkoa, el script añade a algm (el 3º en el ranking a día de hoy). Supongo que está cogiendo "San Sebastián de los Reyes", que si no me equivoco está en madrid, como si fuera "San Sebastián / Donosti", que es la capital de gipuzkoa.
