I've changed up the UI a bit, hopefully you like it.

1. I added drag and drop instead of the previous click to place interface.
2. I have revamped the entire UI, added a new sidebar and a properties section.
3. The properties section can be accessed by double clicking on an element.
4. It alows editing the text, background color, text color, etc.
5. I have added a new context menu with working delete and edit buttons.

I have made a pull request with these features. @anujpuri72 Please review it once.
