bettercovers's Issues

Feature Request - Add Scheduler

Would like to see a scheduler added to the docker image with an environment variable so that it automatically runs say every 4 hours. Hoping this is not a big ask and something you might consider.

Improving hit ratio for movies

I have 1,500+ movies. 400 of them are not matched. Any way I can improve the hit ratio thru BetterCovers config? Movies are stored in separate folders. Folder and files are named "MovieName (Year).ext".

Docker Image

@ilarramendi The current docker image has 361 High and Critical security vulnerabilities. Updating the image will reduce it to 32 that either do not currently have fixes or will not be fixed if you are still maintaining this project. Great project and appreciate your work!

This project is a rip-off!

The developer of this project has gone through great lengths at attempting to not give credit to the original project that inspired it: RatingPosterDB

This project was initially called "Cover-Ratings", where there was a discussion between the creator of RatingPosterDB and the developer of this project: https://github.com/ilarramendi/Cover-Ratings/pull/5 (but he has since removed the repo in an active attempt to hide this discussion, where he clearly accepts to give credit to the original project)

There is still evidence of this on reddit though:
https://www.reddit.com/r/jellyfin/comments/m8rxsa/comment/gsyuhyp/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3

He already removed a comment from reddit where he clearly stated that his inspiration was RPDB, and will most probably remove the other comment too, so I made a screenshot just in case: https://ibb.co/6ygrBBG

There is a PR for adding this link again after he re-wrote the git history (just to remove that link!): #1

He just let it sit for almost 7 months and after that closed it without saying a word!

The developer of this project is using childish attempts to take full credit for something that was never his invention to begin with! And going through reddit and github history in order to remove all the places where he said that he started working on this after seeing the RPDB posts!

However much you try to hide things... THE INTERNET REMEMBERS!

I am reporting his github profile and I urge everyone to do the same, I couldn't care less about the code he wrote, this person is toxic and manipulative!

KeyError: 'mediainfo'

The container starts and processes a few movies and then I get the error below 29 times in a row. it causes the container to restart and then it processes a few more movies properly until it happens again.
