Since we're collecting names and emails (and maybe stories), we should have the seed of a privacy policy.

• Selection highlight in the middle section (How it Works) is invisible, perhaps because it uses the background color.
• Fonts are a mix of sans-serif and serif; not a big deal but a little discordant.
• I really like the script font for GranCentral!

• Add a ™ to the first occurrence of GranCentral (after the big heading).
• Although Hanna-Barbera doesn't have a live trademark for Rosie, I'd rather leave her name off for now (which also supports user renaming).
• Suggest changing "there's nothing" to "with nothing" for more formal register. (Otherwise I get out my semicolon shaker!)
• "two way" => "two-way"
• "learns activities" => "learns elders' activities"
• "machine vision" => "machine learning"
• "the GranCentral in-home station" => "GranCentral"

Brave, Chrome and Safari all put up scary warnings because the cert for this site is Github's.

It doesn't seem that Github is willing/able to support HTTPS for non-github.io domains, so this issue can only be resolved by re-hosting.

When I submitted "Chris Eich" and "[email protected]" I was taken to this formspree.io page, which would only confuse or irritate someone interested in GranCentral.

Issues:

• "All set, profit" and "things start working" are weird and vague (respectively).
• The text says "To prevent spam", but I don't think this helps us defend against a bot spamming our homepage form.
• The text "part of the Formspree sign up process" makes me think this is not configured as intended, as we don't want our interested parties to sign up with Formspree.
• After 15 minutes, I have not seen any email from formspree.io in [email protected] (including the Spam folder :-).

Just as we began with our stories, I'd like to gather stories from interested folks.

Remove “robot”?

I would like to generate a favicon from the heart.svg. Note that this file would also be used in the demo-client-react repository.

I tried using a "free" web converter (svg->ico) and ended up with a 240kB file, stuffed with malware I'm sure.

Trying to load in a browser, I get the following message:
