docs's Issues

Paragraphs on the about page is confusing

While it can be and is used in any nearly situation where a UNIX-type server is needed, illumos excels at storage applications, large multi-tenant systems, and other cloud-centric uses.

Dead link on The Quality Death Spiral

On the page https://illumos.org/docs/contributing/qds/ is a link to a hub.opensolaris (down below). This is a dead link since this domain is not resolving anymore.
Maybe we can provide a copy ourself on the documentation (if permissions are ok) or refer to another link where this is hosted now.

Review color and theme choices

via John Hardward on developer@illumos

However, I am color blind and there is not enough contrast between the
color for the URL links and whatever color the background is. The
unhilighted URL links blend into the background to become nearly
invisible. 1/5 males are color blind, usually to greens.

My advice is Black background & White text. Mobile PC users need to save
battery power via Black background. White background causes snow
blindness. Yellow and Black produce the highest contrast. So Yellow URL's
might be a good choice, plus they look like sticky notes of interest which
is what they are really.

I'm not sure that we can go for black/white in the default, but we should certainly fix the color schema so it's more accessible.

An alternative might be the ability to select a "night mode" theme dropdown that has higher contrast.
