Recent changes to PoShPACLI mean that the script would not work with the latest version of the module.

Necessary changes are present in the PosHPACLI-Update Branch.

For context, CAPolicySQLDump.ps1 was consuming boolean values which were previously output by some PoShPACLI functions; these are no longer output by the module, instead, all functions now return any error message received from PACLI.

All PoShPACLI function names have been changed; they all now have, at the minimum a prefix of "PV" before the noun. Some function verbs/nouns have also been changed. The updated names are now present in the script.

A bug fix means that the list of files can now be successfully retrieved from a safe; the native Pacli call in the script has been replaced with the PoShPACLI equivalent.

I am not able to test the SQL related part of the code - can you confirm it all works as expected using the latest version of the module?

Thanks for providing script to export Policies. I am having problem while executing the script start-pacli etc. does it work on 9.8 version. Also, does it extract all settings configured in the platforms?

@dataplex has a psEVD script that can pull out information to a SQLite3 db for querying. This would be version 2 enhancement.
