Hey,
thanks a lot for this nice project. I am not using this for a work place but at home for presence detection (but for a workplace with nightshifts this would apply too).
I now come home in the evening but exactly at midnight i get kicked out (it can be seen in the users log). Do you have any idea if it would be possible to preserve the "inside" state over night to the next day?
Best regards!
Hi good tutorial
I'm having trouble with esp32 when I put a finger it doesn't read it it says Check Mode, and Check to Delete ID on serial monitor am I doing something wrong?
I go to website page manage user
I add user id and when it is ready to add fingerprint I play my finger on my sensor. And then fingerprint icon show with lock and serial monitor said "Check Mode, Check id to delete" and fingerprint status is free and not added. How can I solve it?
I'm using an OLED screen with an SH1106 controller instead of the adafruit OLED with SSD1306 controller used in the example.
This means I have had to switch from adafruit_GFX.h to U2g2lib.h.
After a few tweaks in the to the code to support the slightly different API of U8g2lib, all working fine except the XBM icons are all jumbled.
I have tested generating XBM arrays from image files in GIMP and that works and renders well.
I assume you did something similar to generate the XBM icons.
Please share your source image files so I can recreate the XBM files that render with U8g2lib. Happy to submit a pull request when it is all working.
Thanks
Ray
