Hello, I googled and got your example of multi-level dropdown menu.
https://bitsofco.de/accessible-multi-level-dropdown-navigation/
I want to use it for my school project. I am a novice when it come to CSS and javascript. I like that you take into the issues with accessibility. How would I modified the javascript/CSS so that when you click on "Level 3", it will expand the submenu instead of the current method of hovering. However, I would like it to continue to have the submenu under Level 3 (Example Link) be expanded when the event is a hover (mouseover). I hope you can help me and get back to me soon so I can finish up my school project. Thank you.

Hi, Ire.
I'm a 15 year-old Node.js developer from Lagos, working on DevX, a social network for developers, by developers. You can read about it here.
The aim is to bring all sorts of developers and designers together, to build a tool that they would use. Would be glad if you could join.
Hello Ire,
Happy to meet you.
I introduce myself, my name is David, I am a French freelance front-end developer.
I have a portfolio website where I will soon open a blog section and I want to start by translating certain article in English.
Among these articles, I would like to translate 4 of your recent articles.
"A look at CSS Resets in 2018", "What is the Shadow DOM", "How to use the tabindex attribute" and "Everything about CSS environment variables".
So I'm contacting you to find out if you would like me to translate your articles on my blog?
Of course I would quote the source of these articles translated and I put a link to the original article and your portfolio.
What do you think ?
Regards,
Hello Ire. My name is Angger. I just have tried your simple push notification that you uploaded on youtube. I have tried your simple model here https://simply-notify.firebaseapp.com/, but nothing happen. The notification can't appear. Then, I follow your tutorial to figure out what actually happened and I got stuck in some parts. And then, when actually i almost done with the same source (from your github here) and i already deploy to https://simple-notif.firebaseapp.com/ the same things happen. The notifications didn't appear, and maybe i found the problem in part of functions, that you told to upload index.js there. In my function, actually with the same code as you, i found this :
Actually i don't understand how to solve the property 'previous' that undefined. I hope you can help me please, because I'll using this to finish my undergraduate thesis, my topic is about the difference of push notification on web app and android app.
Best regards, Angger.
HI ire! my name is Onana Steve from Cameroon and I really admire you. I currently learning web development at FreeCodeCamp and I want to know where I can find beginner-friendly code written in OOP-style to read? I've already studied basics of OOP but I feel like I can't write in that style thus the need to read through more experienced developers code. I've already watched your Youtube video on Realtime Form validation (it is awesome) but I need more. Thanks !!! MY email is [email protected]
Hi, Ire
My question is about you not having a CS degree, did this in any way make you come short when applying for jobs or during technical or non-technical interviews, did you have to catch up on computer science stuffs like data structures and algorithms to be able to pass these technical interviews.
kind regards.
Hi Ire,
my name is Eddie and I am a commercial photographer/musician based in the US. I've always been intrigued by development but have never attempted to build anything or dive deeper.
I'm at a HUGE crossroads with my career right now. I still want to be an artist, but not sure if I can keep
fighting the good fight. I've seen many success stories about people changing careers into becoming devs and as you can tell, I'm intrigued. Would you suggest something like Udacitys Nanodegree for someone like me? I'm looking at a Front End Dev one that is coming up in August.
I feel like front end can keep that artistic drive inside me and I could lean it into something like UI/UX later on.
Not a problem, just thought you'd like to know.

On line 5: Change Math.floor(Math.random() * 3) to * 4.
Current code never uses the level 3 color style since only 0, 1, & 2 are ever assigned.
Great site and fun examples!
How was learning to code initially as well?
I would like to ask about your journey so far as a frontend engineer, what would you say has made you stand out, and how did you become a better software engineer. I mean in terms of things you had to learn, best practices and whatnots. Thanks.
Hello!
I discovered you through 'The Accessibility Cheatsheet', on bitsofco.de. The cheatsheet led me to check out your personal website/porfolio.
In the 'Contact' section of your portfolio, there is a really cool animated picture of you.
I wanted to know who was the artist who did that animation, and, if this individual/company is taking new clients?
Thank you!
Chelsey
Would grow hips if I could, just to get a shot at applying to your Udacity Nano Degree Scholarship and I know this is out of place but if there's the slightest bit of a chance I'd really like to get sponsored for a FrontEnd Dev course and I'd definitely wear a wig :)
Hello Ire,
We just came across to your blog and really liked it. Would you consider to write a sponsored post on your blog? Let us know at Getform if you are interested.
Thanks in advance for your time.
2 min read ^_^
I've been following your blog for quite some time and i like your blogs.
I know that you took udacity nano degree programme. I want to know your feedbacks and review about the programme you took and if you think it's worth the money.
Thanks.
I have always wanted to ask this question following my visit to bitsofcode and I was amazed on how it fits different screens and how responsive it is. Do you design for different screen sizes or use media queries and I know you don't use bootstrap(got to know this while you were live on codeclass or so I can't remember the name). I am a backend developer but I have taken interest in frontend development with angular/vuejs. Thank you as you answer this.
Hello Ire,
My name is Grace and I have been following you on Twitter since I see you as role model to me. I learn a lot from your posts. However, the other day I was wondering how many women GDEs we have in Africa. I know you are a GDE but I am not aware of any other women GDEs in Africa. Please tell me if there are others. Thank you.
Could you tell us more about your learning path?
I'd let to work with you on a project which I think has the potential to make unlimited profit and help a lot of people. Please, I'd like you to give me a proper chance to pitch it to you. Thank you
Hello Ire,
I recently saw the pa11y gitHub and started learning. It was really awesome. It is working as expected but after running the test I'm getting errors.
npm ERR! code ELIFECYCLE npm ERR! errno 2
There is an error in start script. Any idea why is that happening?
Also if you can share us some examples on how to do pa11y actions and html report that would be great.
I recently started a remote job, but I have no clue how to handle my taxes. How are you doing yours?
Which programming language are you most productive in? What is your favourite feature of that language?
I like to read about how people who eventually succeed in life started out and how their journey has been. So do you have any stories about your journey since you started out? One starting from your great great great grandparents would be awesome.
I am in front-end development. I am learning more everyday.
Please how do you conceptualize an idea into workable plans. For example you are told, "develop a social networking website". The person telling you doesn't know much about it, only that she needs it done awesomely. So you are to do a brief from your research and do designs and propose features.
How would you begin it all? What would you do first and next?
Thanks and i appreciate.
With just a basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JAVASCRIPT and no prior knowledge of APIs, do you think i can build a PWA is 36 hours???
Hello please I'm a self taught front end developer. I van create very mobile responsive webpages and I'm very terrible at JavaScript. I need a mentor to help check and review my projects and give me advice on how to improve. I was hoping you'd like to be my mentor. Thank you so much
Hi Ire!
What do you do for girls and women who look up to you and want to be like you? Would you really help someone you don't know ? Are you a mentor in your country?
I get asked this question a lot to here's my answer!
Hello,
My name is Usheninte, and I love the web. I love art too, and I believe that frontend development is the bridge that connects the two.
I recently started a Developer Student Club powered by Google Developers, for my university community. I also just started learning Angular. I originally felt the need to become a full stack developer, but I realised it would be best to stay true to myself.
I feel that frontend development is the best path for me, due to my artistic nature. How do I become a world-class developer? I am willing to put in the work.
My email address is "jrandanganagmailcom". I do hope you will have the time to offer some feedback.
Regards,
Usheninte.
Sure you having a great day? just stumbled upon you/you site in the funniest of ways. saw a screen grab where you wrote about the challenges female techies face and i couldn't stop laughing.
Pls i'd love to know how long you've been a developer, and also i'd love to be one. how do i go about learning it? can i maybe learn myself or i'd need a tutor?
Would really appreciate if i can get a reply.
Thanks a lot. by the way, you look good. Have a great day.
PS; I just copied and pasted from the earlier mail i sent. hope that's okay
Hi Ire :)
My name is Bolu.
A friend and I are currently attempting to build an on-demand delivery service for our school. We're both intermediate level developers. He thinks we should focus on building the technology ourselves but I feel we should focus on making a solid business model first and outsource the technology building. What do you suggest we do?
I'm really hoping you see and answer this :)

Hi Ire,
I want to switch careers from finance to tech, but I'm not sure how to go about it, where to start or what to learn (first). I know I want to do what you do though. Do you have any advice on how I can get started, with no background in technology?.
Thank you.
