Deprecated selector in `eiffel-syntax/index.less`

In eiffel-syntax/index.less:

Starting from Atom v1.13.0, the contents of atom-text-editor elements are no longer encapsulated within a shadow DOM boundary. This means you should stop using :host and ::shadow pseudo-selectors, and prepend all your syntax selectors with syntax--. To prevent breakage with existing style sheets, Atom will automatically upgrade the following selectors:

No text selection highlight in PHP code

The PHP code is already highlighted (background color) as default, therefore it is not possible to see what is selected if you select PHP code.

I have tried to change the global text selection background color, but that does not help. It seems like the eiffel theme overrides this value.
