I am trying to edit document in office. I get browser dialog to edit document in office or cancel the action. The problem is that after timeout if you do not click any button in dialog it always calls error callback.

Configuration:

• Windows 10
• Chrome
• ITHitWebDAVClient version: 5.17.5482.0

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Click on edit document action that calls "MicrosoftOfficeEditDocument" function
   oNs.MicrosoftOfficeEditDocument(data.Meta.WebDavPath, errorCallback);
2. It opens browser dialog where you can click on open or cancel button but do not click any of them and wait 3s
3. ErrorCallback is triggerd after 3s.
4. Click open in browser dialog and document is successfully opened in office.

I expect that errorCallback is not triggered in this case.

This seems to be only a Microsoft Edge issue, but when attempting to open documents where Microsoft Edge (Chromium) as the default editor, it will instead open a new blank tab instead of the document. Tested as working in Chrome and Firefox, but Edge will consistently do this instead. I ensured that I was running the latest version of the plugin as well as the backend application and same result.

I recall editing a PDF from the demo site before, but now it doesn't seem to work with Adobe Reader:

I see a GET request, but when I try to save I don't see any LOCKs or UNLOCKs and instead I am prompted to save to Adobe cloud

Hello I installed Adobe Pro and I can edit PDFs with webdav now, however I notice that when I click to edit the PDF the document does not lock, instead it quickly locks then unlocks after I perform a save action in Adobe.

Is this expected?

Is this behavior controlled by ITHit?

We would prefer it work like DOCX where the file is locked as long as the user has the file open and only unlocks on close...
