mhbs-trainer's Issues

Links to non-video training materials

We will need some non-video training materials for testing of the app when the time comes (can be from HBB:ECEB/ESCEB/ etc.). Infographics and PDF's will be useful. Additionally, if there are resources tied to training videos we can make a note of that for the courses section.

Create BMV Skill check

BMV-Skills-Check-HBB-2nd-Edition.pdf

  1. Create 14 data elements with “yes only” option checkbox.
  2. Create an appropriate program with these questions made available after training.
  3. Should be able to generate score.
  • Issue 62 is related task and need to be closed and completed before this can be marked as complete

Linking other apps with mHBS

I want to open an issue where we collect other apps to which we may want to link from within the mHBS app. These are specific apps such as for drug or feeding volume calculation, etc. Linking to other active apps is slightly different, from a content perspective, as compared to linking with other educational videos or pdf resources. Some of these apps will be very general, others will be more specific. This issue will evolve as the mHBS powered by DHIS2 app evolves.

Safe delivery app from Maternity Foundation (most pertinent to the Helping Mothers Survive portal within mHBS): http://www.healthynewbornnetwork.org/hnn-content/uploads/SDA-1-Pager.pdf

mUzima clinician assistant app for administration of magnesium sulfate (Helping Mothers Survive portal): http://muzima.org/muzima-clinician-assistant-app/

Premature baby feeding volume app (we need to do resource mapping to determine the best app, based on latest evidence-based guidelines; Essential Care for Small Babies portal)

ETAT+ (This is more for general sick baby care)

S.T.A.B.L.E (same as above)--both ETAT+ and S.T.A.B.L.E will be useful for end-users when they have babies that enter the "red zones" of HBB, ECEB, ECSB

IMCI (WHO; same as above, more general pediatric care, outside the newborn period)

Prof. Deorari's ECEB (I think this is already linked): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eceb&hl=en

Prof Deorari's ECSB: (same as above): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ecsb&hl=en

VR for HBB (To be developed pending BMGF)

Create OSCE A for Learners

OSCEs-A-HBB-2nd-Edition-1.pdf

  1. Create 12 data elements with “yes only” option check boxes.
  2. Create an appropriate program with these questions made available after training.
  3. Should be able to generate score.
  4. Create 5 text box questions to reflect participant performance

Layout render errors in design view

Attaching stack traces of rendering errors in layouts. Currently working on this issue. Errors appear when you click design view in layouts folder.
stacktrace_imgrender.txt
affects these layouts:

fragment_item_list
content_main
content_favorites
app_bar_main
activity_search
activity_main

Microcontroller setup and familiarize with Texas Instruments launchpad/IDE

I discovered that the Texas instruments IDE for the microcontroller (MCU) isn't compatible with MAC or Linux. I found Energia is an open source IDE tool that is compatible with linux/mac and our MCU unit, so I am using that. If anyone else is using mac/linux, and will be working on this as well, I would suggest energia because it seems easy to use so far.

I have not done much coding, but I have got an LED on the MCU blinking via code, so it's a start. I got delayed because of the aforementioned issues. I will be posting status updates to this issue.

Create OSCE B for Learners

OSCEs-B-HBB-2nd-Edition.pdf

  1. Create 23 data elements with “yes only” option check boxes.
  2. Create an appropriate program with these questions made available after training.
  3. Should be able to generate score.
  4. Create 5 text box questions to reflect participant performance

Perinatal Death Audit for Providers

  1. Create all the required tracker data elements.
  2. On reporting of the event master trainers must be notified.
  3. Must be accessible to the user always.

Wireframe Prototype 2/High Fidelity Prototype

This is a rough draft created after discussing features and implementation between Liz and I. There are aspects currently missing from this wireframe with odd naming conventions, but the purpose was to gain better grasp on issues currently present with both our designs and how to remedy them. A high fidelity prototype using google material will take its place tomorrow night on this issues page with more screens, full prototype functionality, a settings menu with proper navigation, and comments related to the overall principles discussed within usability of the app itself.
