Create Python-based tool for:

• Creating and updating existing internal LON devices (MBirds).
• Enabling/disabling them and modifying their LON channel.
• Creating service pin event.
• Updating and listening to their datapoints.

This EPR targets Ubuntu 20.04 as the platform of the development environment.

Use some adaptation of

to setup the tool chain.

Provide a script or instructions to install IDL.

... The output of the build process will be a GLPO file with an installation script and driver image embedded in the file.

From IAP/MQ 11 GLP Load
The GLPO image will use method = "setup"

The custom driver needs to be installed in a location with some persistence across:

Upgrades - no change necessary
Restore defaults (DB reset)
Factory reset - no change necessary
