incorporate some methods to manage the metadata on individual images and set default/blanket settings to strip/modify certain photo exif data (like location and other privacy concerns)

add in a private status to the existing public or unlisted options. concern for this is cached images, should we allow caching of images? It certainly helps performance, however it's a security concern when a browser caches an image, and user logs out or changes status of image to private.

albums that contain public images should be listed as albums somewhere on the site.
