Localized ("loc") UTF-8 Character Restrictions Policy about epp-registry-mapping HOT 2 CLOSED

I believe the only straight forward mechanism to communicate the acceptable set of characters is to leverage a course grain regular expression that can be applied to any "loc" postal information fields. My recommendation for the regular expression format is to use Perl-compatible Regular Expression (PCRE). I will add the registry:locCharRegex element under the registry:postalInfo element with the description 'The OPTIONAL regular expression that represents the character set that can be used for the contact:postalInfo localized form (type="loc") element content. The regular expression MUST conform to the Perl-compatible Regular Expression (PCRE) [pcre] syntax and MUST be applicable to all contact:postalInfo element content.'
