Afro-Cu-Urbana is simply, African, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Soca, all the top flavors to cause a ryhtmical fever. Premiere infectious soul injected, conga-drum ensembles are rare but do happen to exist in certain underground areas throughout Los Angeles. Designated parks, fields, beaches and community backlots are where these, skilled players convine on weekends. The purpose is of recognition, a connection of one via souls gone by through the speaking of drums, a mass conversation to release energies and give respect to the elders of rhythm, rhyme and reason.
