Following the course. Just want to know what the azurerm_route_table and the VirtualAppliance route are needed for? Is this a AKS CNI requirement?

createTFRemoteState.sh hangs while creating the accountName.

cat /dev/urandom | tr -dc 'a-z0-9' | fold -w 12 | head -n 1)

Used random name to proceed further.

Hope you are doing good.

I am currently going through "Deploying an AKS cluster" in azure but while executing below command i am getting following error. Kindly help me to resolve the issue.

deployment=$(az group deployment create --resource-group $(echo $group | jq .name -r) --name ${name} --template-file ${templateFile} --verbose)
Error: az group deployment create: error: argument --resource-group/-g: expected one argument

When running the course the node-vm-size setting of Standard_DS1_v2 seems to cause an error until changed to Standard_DS2_v2

Hello James,

I am currently leaning your course through pluralsight and first issue I got when I executed Create-CourseEnvironmentARM script because many of the Azure commands are deprecated

I replaced with few of the new commands and also removed switch-AzureMode Command (deprecated), after executed script and getting below output

cmdlet Test-AzureRmResourceGroupDeployment at command pipeline position 1
Supply values for the following parameters:
(Type !? for Help.)
TemplateFile:

I tried different parameters in Templatefile but it's throwing error,

Can you please help me here?

Happy to follow this course and the hands-on.Unfortunately,I stuck on initializing terraform for AKS cluster creation at deployAKSsolution.sh..
terraform init

Error: Error parsing /home/User/AKS/pluralsight/azure-devops-kubernetes-infrastructure/module-terraform/terraform/azure-loganalytics.tf: At 12:13: unexpected token while parsing list: IDENT

Assistance Please!!!
