It's not possible to revoke tokens the Mastodon way. (Calls to https://pixelfed.social/oauth/revoke return a 404.)
Tokens, however, automatically expire after 15 days.
Looks like we're going to either need a cron job to auto renew a token before it expires (authenticating with the old one?) or somehow delete the stored token, so that the settings page can be used to trigger another authorization round, which is better than nothing, right?
I love this plugin! It works really nicely.
The only problem of sorts I have is that all the old posts now have the "share on pixelfed" flag set. When I now go back to one and - say - fix a typo, it suddenly gets shared as a new post on Pixelfed when I save ("update") it. I can already see myself accidentally sharing to Pixelfed XD For now I might run through the database once to set the flag to disabled somehow. And then try to remember to check that sharing option.
Maybe it would be nice to sort of make the sharing opt in, i.e. have the checkbox for "share on pixelfed" disabled by default and have the user explicitly mark it to share a post to Pixelfed?
Thx for the great work though! No matter what this plugin is a great help!
Cheers
Hey there,
Im trying to use your plugins (both for mastodon and pixelfed) for a while now for my blog, thank you for it!
I have not really a clue why, but as I recently recognized just a few posts are going through to mastodon, the rest not. All the settings seem perfect.
Usually I post one picture a day and from 20.02. this year on, just three posts are getting through.
Im using the WP mobile client on my iPhone to blog and sometimes directly from my computer, I assume it shouldn’t matter, but I have the suspicion that this could be the reason.
Do you have any idea how to solve this riddle?
Best regards
Allow crossposting images that aren't a post's Featured Image. (Maybe set minimum dimensions [filterable, of course!], too?)
Rather than use Mastodon's /oauth/revoke
, you've got to send a DELETE request to /oauth/tokens/<token>
.
Because that's how Laravel Passport works.

Add type="url"
to the instance URL field, and an error message for invalid URLs
