In Norse mythology, Veðrfölnir (Old Norse "storm pale," "wind bleached" or "wind-witherer") is a hawk sitting between the eyes of an unnamed eagle that is perched on top of the world tree Yggdrasil. Veðrfölnir is sometimes modernly anglicized as Vedfolnir or Vethrfolnir.
