A plugin used to demonstrate the WordPress Transients API for an Envato blog series.

== Description ==

Top Commenters (Cached!) is a simple plugin created for an Envato Blog Post series on the introduction of the WordPress Transients API. The plugin lists out the top 10 commenters (ordered by number of comments) for a given blog.

The plugin stores the results of the top commenters query using the Transients API and only updates it once the transient value has expired.

== Installation ==

1. Upload the plugin to the '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Navigate to Appearance > Widgets
4. Drop the widget on your side and continue!
