PlateupPrepGhost

A small mod to disable player collision on walls and items during the preparation phase to avoid the tedium of moving everything around.

This mod will upon entering the preparation phase, disable collision between players and any geometry (walls, counters, tables, etc.)

When entering any other mode, collision will be automatically re-enabled.

Installation

Method 1: Workshop

  1. Subscribe here https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2903290561

Method 2: Manual

  1. Create a "Mods" folder in your PlateUp! directory C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PlateUp\PlateUp
  2. Create a folder to hold PlateupPrepGhost, it should look like C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PlateUp\PlateUp\Mods\PlateupPrepGhost
  3. download the latest release https://github.com/Jasonleh99/PlateupPrepGhost/releases
  4. move PlateupPrepGhost.dll to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PlateUp\PlateUp\Mods\PlateupPrepGhost

Set speed once at beginning of phase instead of every update

Would it be possible to only set the speed once at the beginning of a phase? I know there are systems that only fire at the beginning of certain phases, but I don't know how difficult they'd be to incorporate into the harmony patching.

The reason I'm asking is that this mod is setting the speed after every player update, which breaks my DashPing mod's ability to temporarily alter the player's speed, because the speed gets overridden immediately in the postfix after changing it.

Ghost mode gets stuck on player 2–x

If you are playing with other people (at least locally, haven’t tested online) and have PrepGhost enabled, everyone but player 1 will still be in ghost mode once you start the day.

Feature Request: Moving Speed

Great mod, thanks for this time-saver. Is it possible to increase the moving speed in the preparation phase? Relocate stuff from one end to the other end of the map can take so much time.

Not working with multiplayer

Twice when joining a multiplayer game I could not open the pause menu and was stuck in ghost form. I unsubscribed from the mod and everything worked fine. Great mod, I can't wait to use it more!

2 Player issue

Downloaded from workshop, works fine other than the fact if player 2 joins they cannot press ESC. Doesn't appear to be an issue their end as I joined as player 2 and also cannot hit ESC. This means that the menu doesn't pop up to do anything like quit, practice mode, etc.

Player 1 has all functionality though.

hotkey for prep ghost

I have seen people turn on prep ghost in the middle of the day without pause for everyone. I don't know how to. If it's a thing then it's not in the description.

Host Speed issues

Speed doesn't work for host or in singleplayer, but does for anyone joining host. Me and a friend noticed this the other day playing. And prepghost is also defaulting to off every time you go to the lobby and is annoying to have to turn back on every time.
