The deployed app needs access to the local DTDs and Schematrons that are added as dependencies, but ncc doesn't yet support packaging assets alongside the code.

I can't run the validator from NH. Thjis might be a problem for other users

Hi there

I have received feedback from a user that the service is not working and I tested it, see screenshot of the response I received.

Is there a problem with the code that you can fix?

1. Generate a JSON array of supported public IDs alongside the catalog file.
2. Before attempting validation, load the XML file without DTD validation and check the public ID against the list of supported DTDs, giving a useful error message if it's not supported.

The tests that I did get to report are assigning ERROR as WARNING. Do I need to separate those in the jats4r.sch again? I may have oversimplified things - relying on the ERROR/WARNING indicator in the messages (that we removed).

Specifically when country/@Country is not a 2-letter string or the attribute is not included.

I will add test files for this and other tests (errors and warnings) that we can use going forward. I'll put these in jats-schematrons/samples

It should be possible to validate a doctype like <!DOCTYPE article SYSTEM "http://jats.nlm.nih.gov/publishing/1.2/JATS-journalpublishing1.dtd">, by mapping the prefix http://jats.nlm.nih.gov/publishing/ to the schema folder.
