dotfile add does not work with packages about dotfiles HOT 2 CLOSED

You are absolutely correct, that feature (adding packages) is not implemented yet. At the moment it's a manual process to create and configure a package just as you've described above. But really, it shouldn't be difficult to add support for, I don't think it requires any large changes to existing structure, just some additional logic to handle packages correctly in the add subroutine. I'll look into this next time block I get for dotfiles. Glad to hear you like it, and thanks for the input.

The next version supports nesting at any depth while maintaining necessary directory structure, so the old packages features is now gone in favor of the much better approach. I hope to have a release up on pypi in a week or so.
