ArcGIS API for JavaScript: Customizing Widgets

In this session, we'll cover how you can customize widgets in the ArcGIS API 4.x for JavaScript. You'll learn about widget view-models and how they make it easy to rewrite a widget's UI. We'll also cover using out-of-the-box themes, as well as creating custom themes using Sass.

How to implement a not dock customizing widgets?

Hi, @jcfranco @driskull
It's such a great tutorial for customizing the widget and I have some problems, I need some guidance, thanks!

Requirement: Implement a not dock widget, it is a dock widget in this tutorial, I wanna not dock widget like Popup, fixed widget location on the map, don't move the position when the map view haven change, keep the original location on the map

Problem: In the tutorial, can use view.ui.add() to show the widget, but I don't through the method to mount the widget, how do I implement the display of the custom widget and location the position
