       Hi,

We try to migrate our npm repo from nexus2 to nexus 3 : your tool is really helping us [ migration tool from NEXUS is not working at all for our NPM repo ]

But we have the following some isssue for some libs migration 👍 { [Error: incorrect header check] errno: -3, code: 'Z_DATA_ERROR' }

Top level folder of tarballs are not always package, that assumption is only true for more recent packages (AFAIK). There are tarballs out there that have some other folder, not named package. This is why npm uses tar --skip-component=1 option, that removes leading directory component on extraction.

This assumption makes impossible migration of some packages not obeying this. Please correct me if am wrong (am npm newbie).
