Emacs already has auth-sources, a familiar, tried-and-trusted, built-in API for storing and accessing secrets. I'm sure I'm not alone in finding plstore irksome. Please consider supporting other possible values for user option gcontacts-user-password: the pathname of a GPG-encrypted netrc/authinfo file storing the token, and/or a user-specified function returning the cleartext token. If nobody with the requisite experience can offer to help, I'm willing to try to implement this, as long as you agree.

I try to launch google contact,
It ask me endless time my password and my username.
I think it don't work but i am not sure, i could have make mistake...

It looks like the google-contacts-notes face is not defined anywhere in the package.

I get:

Invalid face reference: google-contacts-notes

When I try to google-contacts-refresh, my web browser displays the message:

Error 400: invalid_request

Hi

I have to enter my password for the locally encrypted files (I assume oauth, ...) four times and I get no results afterwards. Only after refreshing the search (pressing g) I see the result.

Is this an error on my side?

M-x google-contacts RET RET works fine and shows all my contacts in the *Google Contacts* buffer. Also M-x google-contacts RET nicole RET works fine and lists all contacts with Nicole (no matter what case) in some field.

But M-x google-contacts RET Nicole RET errors with this backtrace.

I've also tried with Nicol, Nicole2, NICOLE, NicolE, Chris, Jeff, and Julien. All of them work fine. The error is only triggered by literally searching for Nicole with that exact spelling.

Hi I'm getting an Encrypt Failed message on Oauth attempts ..

helm-M-x: GPG error: "Encrypt failed", "Exit"
GPG is setup and I can decrypt my authinfo.gpg file without interaction..

Any Ideas.
