Attempted to reproduce in an AWS S3 bucket and was not able to replicate (also not able to replicate locally). Looks like some issue with Netlify. There are no react-router changes happening so Netlify shouldn't be getting thrown off. Only happens in Edge.

• Might switch hosts (kind of lazy).
• Might try to add a _headers file as per Netlify docs. Perhaps it thinks there is some route change considering the modal takes the entire screen. (However the HomeContainer is still mounted in the background so it doesn't seem likley.
• Might be a bug with React-JSS
• Another note, the Modal component is rendered conditionally in the react tree so as, if the condition is false, it does not render at all. Standard practice

Example:

{modal && <Modal setModal={setModal} item={currentProject} />}
Maybe Netlify is acting weird with this in combination with React-JSS. (unlikely)

Solutions:

• Immediately I think a solution would probably to extract the Modal CSS into it's own .css file so as to make it always available. However this creates an inconsistency in the code base. Want to avoid.
