I was actually looking for this even in the React-native "native" Slider component, but no success. Also I tried to transform the component using style transform: [{rotate: '90deg'}] but the component goes donkeys.

@carera: I tried the same. I then tried adding vertical orientation to the native (using CGAffineTransformMakeRotation), which works a little better, but it messes with the layout.
I think going to have a go at adding support here.
