Jeff, hope you can help me on this one. I'm trying to get our diskimages utility to work, but I'm doing something wrong.

I have cloned the pcjs-diskettes using GitHub desktop and am trying to encode to json an a diskette image file. This is what I'm getting . . .

In regards to using node.js, I'm a newbie, but not a tech newbie.

I've installed the latest version of node.

What may I be doing wrong?

Can diskimage.js translate a JSON to IMG?

I'm curious on what program is best to convert RAW disk images to JSON and also JSON to IMG.
Can you share your knowledge please. :-)

Hello, could you please add Windows 1.0
and Linux 0.01? They are the earliest Windows and Linux pre-releases currently available, and I think they make sense for retro computing.
I don't know if Apple's System 1 is compatible with PCjs.

this repo ships Enhanced DEBUG even though it is nonfree, noted on its page as follows:

NOTE: This is standalone software which is freely available for use but should not be included as part of a collection or with any other software and should not be redistributed. Previous versions of this software are obsolete and also should not be redistributed.

I recently made two releases of my own advanced FreeDOS Debug fork, called lDebug. Unlike Enhanced DEBUG it is free software (Fair License) and builds with a free software toolchain. It also offers a different choice of new features.

I prepared a 1440 KiB diskette image with (uncompressed) release 2 executables, including the default ldebugu.com, the DPMI-capable ldebugxu.com, and the debuggable lddebugu.com, as well as the boot sector installation application instsect.com. I also put in the map and (zip compressed) listing file for DDebug, license.txt, and the ldebug.txt manual with DOS line endings. The image has been made bootable using instsect.com /m=diskette.img /f=ldebugu.com. It is located in my download directory.

Do you want to include this image? Do you have any suggestions for changes?
