Kodi crashes when trying to play video from Jellyfin about jellyfin-kodi HOT 11 CLOSED

So you're on the 10.4 beta build for the server then? Also, check the kodi addon version. Most recent is 0.2.1. Are you using kodi on your phone, or the official JF app?

Being a tablet, I don't believe there's an easy way to look at the logs on the device. You can install the Log Uploader addon and share a link here for review. I don't have a shield to test with, but that should at least give us a nudge in the right direction.

Sorry for the confusion, it's the Nvidia Shield TV. So it's an android TV box. I tested kodi on my phone as well as my computer and it works fine on both of those. I have the kodi log files, would you like me to upload it?
I am on the beta build of Jellyfin server but also tested with 10.3.7 I believe, whichever is the latest stable release. Jellyfin for kodi is 0.2.1

Odd that it fails only on one type of device. Yeah, if you could upload them either to here or something like pastebin that would be helpful

I have also tried connecting to the server via domain and port 443. Both ways connect and find all of my content, but won't play it.

Your log there doesn't show anything out of the ordinary, could you try turning on debug logging in both the kodi and addon settings, reproducing the issue and uploading the log again?

We've just pushed out a new version that has some fixes for specifically for android/shield devices. Can you check if this is still occurring for you?

Is this still an issue with 0.3.4? filebin logs expired, so I can't double check for stack traces.
