Hi! Wanted to chip in to say I experience the same with my music, which I solely use jellyfin for. I have the same type of logs as OP, and the scheduled task: "Scan media library" has a "(failed)", when started automatically or manually. When I add new songs, some do show up in my library, but some others don't, and I don't know why yet. I am also on 10.9.6 and host it on a docker container. Let me know if you need more information.

This happened to me also. I did two things and one of them fixed it. I moved the series completely out of my media folder, did a scan all libraries so it cleaned it up. Then put it back in. I also deleted the cache of my media player and my brower and it started working... Go figure.
