simple-node-js-react-npm-app's Issues

process apparently never started in /home/jenkins/workspace/developer-console@tmp/durable-28a71889

All aver the internet I didn't find a solution. I'm learning this tutorial about how to build a node.js and React app with Jenkins : https://jenkins.io/doc/tutorials/build-a-node-js-and-react-app-with-npm/#fork-sample-repository

During the build, I got the error

    process apparently never started in /home/jenkins/workspace/developer-console@tmp/durable-28a71889

    (running Jenkins temporarily with -Dorg.jenkinsci.plugins.durabletask.BourneShellScript.LAUNCH_DIAGNOSTICS=true might make the problem clearer)

    script returned exit code -2

My Jenkinsfile looks like :

pipeline {
    agent {
        docker {
            image 'node:6-alpine'
            args '-p 3000:3000'
        }
    }
    stages {
        stage('Build') {
            steps {
                sh 'npm install'
            }
        }
    }
}

Please do you know how could I correct it ? During the process, when I check, the node:6-alpine is created and running without errors. Thanks

Unable to access the react-node js app on localhost:3000

Hi,

I am following this tutorial for setting up jenkins build server locally. I was able to to set it locally.

The issue I am facing is jenkins is available on localhost:8080 but unable to get the deliver stage's app up on localhost:3000 as mentioned in jenkins/scripts/deliver.sh

Got error on pulling node:6-alpine

I got stuck on the step 5: run Jenkins after the first commit.

I got the following error on docker pull node:6-alpine

+ docker pull node:6-alpine
error during connect: Post https://docker:2376/v1.39/images/create?fromImage=node&tag=6-alpine: dial tcp: lookup docker on 127.0.0.11:53: no such host
script returned exit code 1
