This repo, https://github.com/Sage-IT-Data-Team/data-revolutionaries, will stop being deployable when Heroku pulls the free tier in November.

Meanwhile, this repo, https://github.com/jeremiq/sage-one-tree-planted-hackathon-2022 requires a full (slow) docker build every time you click the 'binder' button.

What's needed is some better, free, hosting solution maybe something that can point to a pre-built image that we host on...dockerhub?

Any static URL that gives you a site that hosts the existing data views would be great.

Next steps:

1. understand existing solutions (heroku free + binder) and their limitations
2. find a new possible hosting service or two.
3. talk to @vcastane @jeremiq and @robbyherring (?) and move it forward.

Options for combining/refactoring

1. Do we keep this in a notebook, BUT work on improving performance(?) XOR

2. Do we pull out the static aggregations and push them into a the existing dash app over in https://github.com/Sage-IT-Data-Team/data-revolutionaries

3. Do we start clean and rip out the best parts of each application in one combined uberapp?

Idea: per state values are a bit easier to start with than per-county.

The default disadvantaging definition is useful, but no solution currently offers that consistently per state.

Also, if custom criteria are chosen a state filter must also be used.

Desired workflow:

one or more disadvantaging criteria are chosen and then a ranking of states is shown.
