exportcncfab's Issues

Add Instance Shared Parameter Value in Exported Filename

I would like to know how to add an additional shared parameter instance value to the exported SAT/DXF filenames. The current SAT/DXF filename method only exports the "host level name_parentId_partId"

Only exporting the Revit element id makes it difficult and time consuming to determine what part was exported after exporting many elements. I have added an instance shared parameter to my Revit models and assigned it to parts. The goal is to have this instance shared parameter value included within each exported filename.

When exporting, I get the following default file name:
"Level Name_136667_136683.sat".

I would like for the file name to be exported with the "SortMark" instance value:
"Level Name_"SortMark"136667_136683.sat
"Level 03
SB-10_13667_136683.sat"

For some reason, I am not able to output the desired filename with the "SortMark" instance value. Instead, I receive:

"Level Name_Autodesk.Revit.DB.Parameter_136667_136686.sat"

Issue with create Shared Parameters / 2D DXF export.

Hello Jeremy,

I faced an issue with creating Shared Parameters. Please see the screenshot below:

Currently, I'm using Revit 2020.2.8.
A few weeks ago I already tested this plugin and it works without any issues. Please advice.

Also, I reached out to you some time ago about the possible export of 2D DXF/SAT files. For now, this function is not available.

The Revit allows up to export 2D DXF, but for my purpose, it should be every element should be exported separately (the same as it works in your plugin in 3D). I trying to find an automation way to use the CNC machine with cladding plates in Revit (Revit(DXF) -> CAM -> CNC).

In addition, if it is possible to implement exporting of 2d elements as separate files - can these elements start from absolute zero coordinates (x=0,y=0,z=0)

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts
Thank you in advance.
