I congratulate you on your project. Last year it was working well on Ubuntu 16.04. I installed Ubuntu 20.04, I tried your script again, I get

      [youtube_search] Lua error: [string "/home/karaca/.config/mpv/scripts/youtube-sear..."]:872: attempt to perform arithmetic on field '?' (a nil value)

Is there any version conflict?

I am on Ubuntu 20.04 platform. I have tr_TR.utf8 locale. mpv-youtube-search search box ignores Turkish letters such as ç, ğ, ı, ö, ş, ü . I found the following lua script which implements Cyrillic letters.
