multifootnote's Issues

Feature request: split multi-numbered footnotes across multiple pages

Dear Jinwen,

I've been using your package, and I love it so much. Thank you for writing it.

I have a feature request if you are available and interested. I don't know how much effort it would be to implement.

The scenario:
I have a use case where there are many numbers for the same footnote (3, 4, 7, 11, 14, 16), and the locations in the text are spread across multiple pages (3, 4, 7 on page 1; 11, 14, 16 on page 2).

Current behavior:
The way it is now is that the footnote prints when I call \multifootnotetagtext[]{}. Thus on page 1, I refer to footnotes 3, 4, and 7, but the bottom of this page does not show the footnote text, even though there would be space available.

Improved behavior:
It would be great if on the bottom of page 1, it would print the footnote text with the numbers 3, 4, and 7; and then on page 2 it would repeat the footnote text with numbers 11, 14, and 16.

Thank you for considering my feature request!

Best,
Sabine
