Hi, I was eager to use the app, but after activating GPS the App does not locate me. Is there anything else I need to do?

I have promised to investigated that option.

There is an proposed patch, but it needs some love yet.

I can see the points earned after I check-in, but another cool thing of foursquare was the (un)healthy competitions with your friends to see who discovered the most new places.
A weekly scoreboard where you can see your current weekly points compared to your friends.

Since Lapuanjoki (2.1.4.14) version nearby venues page is always empty (message "there is no venue nearby").

I've tried to debug, looks like gpsReady is never true, so nearbyVenues are not even fetched.
But I'm not an expert in that field, so I don't know is it a virtual machine issue or actually a root cause.

Just found someone on Twitter from foursquareAPI saying it should be easy to add the possibility of enjoying discounts and offers from Stores through Foursail if you add them
(API Endpoint specials)

That was one of the main reasons to have foursquare. check in and get %off or a free drink for sharing you've been somewhere.

Since the basic implementation of the application many features have changed. Foursquare application was split into two for other OS. Do you have any ideas to add swarm apis which will introduce some new features into that application? e.g. check-in friends, stickers, scoreboard.
It can be a combination of main features from two applications in one cool app.
