Posted a tweet with a link in it, it got everything from www to .com, but nothing after that.

Hey, is anyone willing to make this repo deplorable to Heroku? Heroku gives you a button which you put in README, this button automatically opens Heroku and gives you a form to put in variables before I deploys. This will be so much easier than self-hosting on your computer.

When posting a tweet the pic.twitter.com link directs to the low quality version of the picture while the Imgur link mirrors the HQ version.

This might be intentional behaviour but I don't really see why.

This brings some issues since quite a few subreddits don't allow linking within reddit without a no participation subdomain. Messaging still works properly with the np subdomain added, please consider changing this.

As above. Saying times are in UTC doesn't work when tweet text mentions specific times and the bot doesn't correct them.

A solid, understandable fix would be to change tweet timestamp display to say 2013-07-25 14:02:37 UTC instead.

The services the original tweet_poster used seem to be gone, but I found at least one alternative with an API: http://unshort.me/api.html

See for example this comment - original tweet has two images, but only first one was added.

I couldn't find any information on whether this is already supported, but being able to detect multi-part tweets would be awesome. E.g. these two tweets:

The Ukrainian embassy was closed from the 1st to the 10th due to the new year (2/2)

Current plan:

• Each image host subclasses TweetPoster.rehost.ImageHost
• Iterate through subclasses matching a url against a regex
• If match call extract method, which will return an imgur url or None
• Slot the url into the comment

As seen in this thread the bot doubleposted the same message.

TweetPoster only links and rehosts the thumbnail of the image, which means that for a GIF, only one frame is shown.
