A PHP & MySQL powered web calendar that endeavors to make event publishing and promotion easier and more effective.

The Helios Calendar project is a continuation of the commercial version of Helios, but released as open-source.

After cloning or forking this repo checkout the setup instructions to get your calendar up and running.

The "official" Helios Calendar documentation is available in the repo wiki.

We welcome anyone who wants to help make Helios Calendar better to do so by contributing to this project.

1. Fork the repository and clone locally
2. Create a branch using the git checkout -b $BRANCH_NAME. Replace $BRANCH_NAME with your branch name
3. Add commits to your branch using the git add . and git commit -m "" commands. Push your commits to your branch with git push origin $BRANCH_NAME
4. Open a Pull Request.
5. Discuss and review your code in the GitHub UI
6. Once your Pull Request has been reviewed and approved, one of the site owners will merge and deploy your Pull Request
