I really liked that I found an esp-idf version that is this clean, very simple and fully functional.

I had to add an extra } for closing the temp_task function. I'm not sure if that was an intentional error or it was forgotten.

res & 0x4 is right?
Bit D2 is normally low andgoes high when the thermocouple input is open.
