learn-jovo's Issues

How to write a Jovo Tutorial

With this new structure, anyone can add a new tutorial to the Jovo website: https://www.jovo.tech/tutorials.

For example, take a look at our Echo Buttons tutorial:

Just fork this repository and and add your own tutorial to the /tutorials folder.

Looking forward to reading your thoughts ๐Ÿ™Œ

Thanks,
Jan

Project 3, initial steps: Consider using shorter audio files during tutorial

I understand the attraction of using a podcast episode about Jovo, and using a real podcast to demo the final, complete solution makes sense, but while we're learning it would be easier to work with smaller files that can be conveniently run as a functional test.

(Yes, I know, we can drag the progress indicator to skip to the end of the episode, but FT shouldn't require manual intervention... and if we overshoot the drag we may generate "finished" events before we intend to; I'm not sure whether that will cause issues or not.)

Typo in Tutorial 3: Preparing Our Deployment Environment

# Build platform-specific files
$ jovo build
โ€‹
# Create deployment package
$ jovo deploy -p googleaction
Here the #create deployment package command should be
$ jovo deploy -p googleAction
As whenever I run the current command it shows me this error in CLI:
Please use a valid platform: (alexaSkill|googleAction)

Tutorial testing google request from lambda fails

In the section right before here where you copy the json test and use it to test if the lambda function works with google I'm seeing the following error:

{ "errorMessage": "Can't handle request object.", "errorType": "Error", "stackTrace": [ "App.handle (/var/task/node_modules/jovo-core/dist/src/BaseApp.js:130:23)", "<anonymous>" ] }

Also, you have to remove all of the backslashes in it first otherwise it complains and won't let you save it.
