possibly my own fault since my java skills are rusty but just fyi I struggled a tiny bit getting the help working from the description here:

seemingly my mistake was I actually googled on "Maven Central" and then searched JavaHelp and wound up downloading what I guess was an old version from here:

when DrawFBP gave me an error I googled again and downloaded a newer jar from here that did work:
https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/javax.help/javahelp/2.0.05

(I assume there's a good reason it's not just built in but could the tutorial have a direct link to the download?)

Port descriptions need to be added to many components - this is actually a JavaFBP issue (issue jpaulm/javafbp#13)

Add port names to components javadoc - or similar index

just another small bit of feedback

things went smooth for me till step 3 but then "Choose Component" wouldn't work

your text there kind of hinted (but if It said so explicitly I missed it?) that Choose Component needs access to the individual class files so I expanded my javafbp jar and now it's working

for me being new maybe that earlier step about the DrawFBP install needs a more explicit sister step for JavaFBP Install that tells them to expand the jar?

Seems to be a problem with the OUT port of the leftmost block in Step5.png

Javadoc function doesn't provide very good search mechanism.

Combined with #1 , this suggests building a special indexing mechanism...
